Can stage monitor mode show just a single song page?
Most
External Video screens are landscape in orientation by default. When you use this in conjunction with
Stage Monitor Mode , OnSong displays two songs by default. The reason is to fit more content on the screen by placing the virtual paper in a portrait orientation.
If you're using
Stage Monitor Mode to project/beam a confidence monitor on the back wall, you may want to display one song the full width of the display. Likewise, you may want to rotate a monitor into a portrait orientation to display one song on the screen in a portrait orientation. Here are ways you can adjust your settings for those scenarios.
Confidence Monitor
For this scenario, you want one song to display in a landscape orientation. To do this, tap on the gear icon in the
Menubar to open the
Utilities Menu and then choose
Settings . Tap on
Live Settings on the left and then
External Video on the right. Tap on
Stage Monitor to adjust stage monitor settings. In this screen, set the
Screen Orientation to 0 or 180º, set the
Paper Orientation to landscape and then
Aspect Ratio to match your external screen. For wide screen projectors, this is likely 9:16. For others, choose 3:4. Tap Done. Now the current song will be displayed full screen.
Vertical Screen
For this scenario, you would use a standard computer monitor or HDTV and rotate it 90 degrees and then display one song on the screen. To do this, tap on the gear icon in the
Menubar to open the
Utilities Menu and then choose
Settings . Tap on
Live Settings on the left and then
External Video on the right. Tap on
