How can I disable or customize the buttons in the lower right of the screen?

The buttons in the lower right corner are called the Live Bar and provide quick access to live performance features.  You can turn these buttons off by opening the Utilities Menu by tapping on the gear icon in the Menubar, and then choose Settings > Live Settings > Live Bar > On-Screen Buttons.  In here you are turn the buttons off that you desire.
