How can I import/export files from OnSong to my iXpand Drive?

OnSong has the ability to import and export content to and from a number of services. The iXpand Drive is a unique device that allows you to import and export content to and from your iOS device using a Lightning plug on one side, and connecting to a computer using a USB plug on the other.

Setup
To get started, you'll need to install the iXpand app installed on your device.  This will provide a method for accessing files on the device that is connected to the Lighting port on your device.  This will also allow the iXpand Drive to be accessed using the Files app found in iOS/iPadOS.

Exporting
You can open the Share Menu by tapping on the square with an up arrow icon in the Menubar.  Choose the Export option and choose the file formats you want to export as well as any Output Options by tapping on the wrench icon.  Tap on the folder icon in the lower right to open the Location Picker to choose Files.  When you tap on the Export button, the iOS/iPadOS Files interface.  Review the options in the Location section of this interface.  If you don't find the iXpand Drive app, tap on the Edit button to enable this as an option in Locations.  From there, you can use the Files interface to choose where to export the files.  Once you're done, OnSong will request the files to be sent to the iXpand Drive.

Alternately, you can use the Share Menu in OnSong to export files to the iXpand Drive by opening those generated files in the iXpand app.  To do this, go into the Share Menu and choose Open.  Choose the file format you want to export and choose any output options as configured with the Output Options Menu by tapping on the wrench icon. When you're ready, tap on the Open button.  This will present the activities menu where you can open the file into the iXpand Drive app.  From there you should be able to determine where to save the file.

Importing
In a similar way, you can import files from either using the Files interface, or by using the iXpand Drive.  When viewing a collection or book in the Songs Menu within OnSong, tap on the + button to view the Add Songs Menu. Next, choose the Files option and choose the iXpand Drive location.  Browse for the files you want to import and select them.  Then tap to import the files into OnSong.

You can also open the iXpand Drive and browse for files.  You can then choose files and tap to open/copy the file into OnSong.
