I have weird characters appearing on my charts that are not in my Word doc.

This is caused by a feature in Word called "Smart Quotes" which isn't really all that smart.  Essentially Word is replacing regular quotes with a special character.  The character is not transferred to OnSong well since it's on a different platform.

I would recommend turning off Smart Quotes in your Microsoft Word preferences.  That will help with transitioning your document to OnSong.
