OnSong deleted my library when it updated. What gives?

OnSong cannot delete your library or remove songs due to an update.  The underlying database structure may be upgraded, but that does not effect your library.  It is possible that an update from the App Store could have failed which can cause issues with the integrity of the app or its documents and data.

Keep in mind that if you delete an app under iOS, all documents and data are deleted as well.  issues with the app updating process will sometimes cause users to delete the app and reinstall which will result in data loss.

OnSong recommends keeping an automatic backup of your OnSong library to make sure you're always ready to perform no matter what happens.  We also suggest these best practices for updating OnSong to prevent issues in the future.
