OnSong supports iOS 9 and higher devices. This means that it can run on iPad 2 and newer, as well as iPhone 4s and higher. However, we are planning to drop support for iOS 9. and 10 devices in early 2020., The reason is simple. We can't support the majority of users and new ways of building apps while also supporting older hardware. Since OnSong integrates with multiple devices and services, we must keep current on integrations with these systems. Often times these manufacturers and partners release software that is only available for newer operating systems.  This means that OnSong cannot support the latest updates for the majority of users.

In addition, iPad 2, 3, and 4 devices are not longer supported by Apple.  New iPads are more than 10 times faster for a fraction of the price of the original. We recommend that you look to update to a newer iOS device for continued support and performance in the future.
