Can OnSong import files from other apps or websites?

OnSong allows many many ways to import content into your OnSong library. Many apps produce files that can be opened in OnSong. OnSong can determine if the app can be opened based on its MIME type or file extension. For information on the types of files that OnSong can import, please review the supported file formats.

When files are imported into OnSong, the filename is retained with the song in the library. If you import a file with the same file name, OnSong will prompt you to determine if the file should be updated, duplicated, or skipped. If you choose to update the file, no additional song will be added and the underlying content and imported file for the song will be updated. If you choose to duplicate, OnSong will create a brand new song in your library with the file but use a new filename to store it in the library. Lastly, if you choose skip, OnSong will not import the file at all. This is handy if you are importing multiple files and only want to import new song files and skip the rest.
