How can I restart OnSong?
OnSong is designed to run without requiring to shut it down after use. In fact, it's best just to exit to the device's home screen when you're finished running OnSong so that it has time to close properly. If you're playing audio, OnSong will keep running in the background. You can change OnSong's background behavior by going into the
Utilities Menu by tapping on the gear icon in the
Menubar and choosing
Settings >
Live Settings >
Run In Background.
To restart OnSong on a device with a home button, press the home button to return to the home screen. Next, double-press the home button. This should display all opened apps in a grid or a stack. Swipe to locate the OnSong app screenshot and then swipe up to remove OnSong from the screen. This also closes the app down. Press the home button again to return to the home screen and then locate the OnSong icon and press to restart OnSong.
If you're using a newer iPad or Phone without a home button, the process is a little different. Simply tap on the screen to wake the device and sign in. From the home screen, swipe up from the bottom edge of the device and continue swiping until the running apps form a grid or a stack. Swipe to locate the OnSong app screenshot and then swipe up to remove OnSong from the screen. This closes the app down. When you are finished, tap in the area underneath the stack or grid of apps to return the home screen and then locate the OnSong icon to restart OnSong.
